FOR WHAT ?
Our MBUS product line was developed for the read-out of smart meters (read-out the consumption of electricity, water, heat, cold or gas). MBUS is an international standard and almost every manufacturer offers smart meters with an MBUS interface. The data can be read out via the widely used MODBUS protocol.

WHICH VARIANT?

• If you have a recording system (SCADA system, PLC or DDC) with RS232/RS485 interface or Ethernet interface: use RESI-MBUSx-SIO or RESI-MBUSx-ETH gateways
• If you want to evaluate the MBUS protocol directly with your controller: use RESI-MBUSx-LVL or RESI-MBUSxLVL-ETH gateways
• If you use meters that support the MBUS protocol but have an RS232 interface: use RESI-MBUSxR2-SIO or RESI-MBUSxR2-ETH gateways
• If you use meters that support the MBUS protocol but have an RS485 interface: use RESI-MBUSxR4-SIO or RESI-MBUSxR4-ETH gateways
