SPANNER SERIES CTT/CTG
The CTT/CTG series tensioners are used for tensioning plastic and woven straps and for strapping pallets and packages using metal buckles or welding.
Binding with metal buckle (strapping material)
The operator wraps the product with the strapping, passes both ends through the buckle, and places it in the tensioning device. The first end is locked with the brake, while the second end is placed under the blade and in the tensioning roller. By increasing the tension of the strap, the buckle maintains the tension. Once the desired tension is reached, the strap is automatically cut by the tensioning device.
Binding by welding (plastic fabric)
Welded strapping is used with polyester or polypropylene straps and is performed in the same way as the previous strapping, but without using the buckle. At the end of the tensioning, the strap is tensioned with a welding device. The welded strap is then cut off by the strap tensioner. In some cases, you can also use a metal seal and close it with a special plier.
The tensioners are available in the following versions:
MODEL | Maximum strap width | Maximum tension | Weight of tensioner
CTT 20 | 20 mm | 50-450 daN | 1.2 kg
CTG 25 | 25 mm | 50-550 daN | 1.8 kg
CTT 32 | 32 mm | 50-550 daN | 2.1 kg
CTG 40 | 40 mm | 200-750 daN | 2.2 kg
CTT 50 | 50 mm | 200-750 daN | 2.3 kg
CTT 50R | 50 mm | 200-750 daN | 3 kg
The holding capacity of the strap depends on the type of material and the chosen strap.
OPTIONAL
- Strapping cart
For handling and unwinding the strap coil, it is recommended to use the special cart. This way, you can avoid problems if the strapping is incorrectly executed.
- Strapping welding device
The welding device is used when you do not use metal buckles.
- Edge protectors
Plastic and cardboard edge protectors are used for products to be strapped, so that the strapping tension does not damage the corners of sensitive products.
