Product Details: The EE300Ex humidity and temperature transmitter is specifically designed for use in hazardous (explosion-prone) areas and meets classifications for Europe (ATEX), International (IECEx), USA/Canada (FM), China (NEPSI), and Korea (KCs). The device can be used in both gas and dust explosion zones. The two-part housing concept allows for easy installation or quick replacement of the measuring unit without complex rewiring. The EE300Ex can be installed directly in hazardous environments of Zone 0/20. The easy-to-clean, aesthetically pleasing stainless steel housing is a key feature for use in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Long-proven E+E humidity sensor technology ensures reliable and long-term stable measurements in demanding industrial applications. Available in a wall-mount version, a version with up to 10 m remote probe, or with an optional display, the EE300Ex humidity sensor is highly versatile. The device is designed for 2-wire technology, and the power supply can be provided by any intrinsically safe power supply. Measured values are output on two analog outputs (4...20 mA), which can be easily adapted by the user to the respective measurement task. In addition to relative humidity and temperature, the EE300Ex provides all standard calculated values such as dew point temperature [Td], wet bulb temperature [Tw], absolute humidity [dv], etc. Humidity Measurement in Oil: Analogous to humidity measurement in air, the EE300Ex can also be used for humidity measurement in oil. The moisture content of oil can be output either as an absolute value in [ppm] or as relative water activity [aw]. Typical applications for humidity measurement in oil include systems for oil cleaning/drying or on oil platforms for online monitoring of lubricating and gear oils.
