If the preset opening pressure is exceeded, the valve opens and protects systems, containers, or lines from inadmissible overpressure. After pressure relief, the valve automatically closes again, ensuring operational safety permanently. In processes with controlled overpressure, ULTRAVENT valves specifically discharge excess gas.
