The ULTRAVENT series from WITT represents a new generation of mechanical millibar valves for gases. Designed for precise pressure regulation in the range of 5 to 500 mbar, these compact valves offer maximum process safety and versatility – both for industrial end-users and OEMs looking to integrate reliable components into their machines and systems. Whether for safety functions, pressure relief, or controlled venting: ULTRAVENT is the suitable valve for numerous tasks in gas technology. With unique opening and closing behavior according to DIN EN ISO 4126-1 and TÜV component testing in the range of 100–500 mbar, ULTRAVENT meets the highest safety requirements. - 5–500 mbar - According to DIN EN ISO 4126-1 (100–500 mbar) - Design for high flow rates - Ideal for OEM integration - Thanks to high-quality elastomers - Tested and proven over 100,000 cycles - Available in brass or stainless steel with various sealing materials - Optional for long service life ULTRAVENT valves take on the function of a safety valve in many applications. If the preset opening pressure is exceeded, the valve opens and protects systems, containers, or lines from inadmissible overpressure. After pressure relief, the valve automatically closes again, ensuring operational safety permanently. With over 100,000 test cycles, these spring-loaded valves offer long-term performance and safety - supported by individual TÜV certification. In processes with controlled overpressure, ULTRAVENT valves specifically discharge excess gas. The fitting reliably opens upon reaching the defined pressure value, thus preventing damage to downstream components. Ideal for applications where pressure must regularly or situationally escape – for example, when returning gases to relaxation lines. ULTRAVENT can be used as a mechanical pressure control valve in the low-pressure range. With fluctuating inlet pressure, the valve maintains the outlet pressure at the desired level, ensuring stable process conditions – entirely without external control. The purely mechanical functionality makes the system particularly low-maintenance and operationally safe. In the event of inadmissible underpressure, ULTRAVENT automatically opens and balances the pressure conditions again. This protects, for example, tanks or lines from implosion-related damage. This function is essential in systems where dangerous underpressure can arise due to cooling or gas escape. ULTRAVENT is suitable as an overflow valve to direct gas flows into a bypass or return line when a certain pressure level is reached. At the same time, it can be used as a pre-pressure regulator or pressure holding valve to maintain minimum pressures and absorb pressure fluctuations. Especially in sensitive production processes, ULTRAVENT enables finely controlled pressure management at a low level. In combination with pressure-sensitive components, ULTRAVENT plays its role as a pressure relief valve. Excess pressure is safely discharged without causing damage. Thanks to its compact design, installation is possible even in limited space – an ideal solution for OEMs and machine manufacturers. Whether filling tanks or venting lines – ULTRAVENT reliably controls gas supply and discharge. Its precise response characteristics and reusability make it the perfect choice for industrial gas applications with dynamic pressure behavior. Compared to traditional bursting discs, ULTRAVENT offers a reusable, mechanically precise solution for pressure relief. Upon reaching the defined limit pressure, the valve reliably opens – and automatically closes again after pressure equalization. This makes it particularly suitable for processes where permanent pressure monitoring is required and downtime should be avoided.
