Stainless Steel Screw Loading Hopper AISI 304The stainless steel AISI 304 screw filling hopper is designed for easy feeding of dosing devices and other packaging systems. Thanks to its robust and hygienic construction, it is ideal for the food industry and other sectors where high standards of cleanliness and safety are required.Operation: The operator fills the floor-standing tank and manually controls the loading of a higher-placed doser/hopper with the product via the ON/OFF button. The system can, if equipped with its own control panel, be fitted with an automatic management system that activates the screw when the product is missing.Product Advantages:Ergonomics and Safety: The loading point is about 900 mm above the ground, reducing the operator's physical effort and improving workplace safety.Efficient Transport: The motorized screw conveys the product directly into the hopper of the doser or other processing machines, ensuring a constant and controlled flow.Modularity and Customization: The basic model is equipped with an ON/OFF switch; on request, a version with a volumetric/optical sensor installed in the dosing container is available. This system allows automatic activation of the screw conveyor when the product level drops, optimizing operational efficiency.Easy Cleaning: The streamlined design allows for quick removal of residues, making it perfect for applications with high hygiene standards, such as in the food industry.Compatibility: Can be combined with volumetric dosers, automatic scales, packaging systems, mixers, and production lines for transporting powders, granules, and other bulk products.Discharge Flexibility: The standard discharge point is at 2100 mm but can be adapted to specific customer requirements upon order.Cleaning and DisinfectionThe screw is fully cleanable and disinfectable. For thorough cleaning, it can be disassembled; otherwise, as it is made of stainless steel, it can be washed with water. The basic version is equipped with an ON/OFF reversal, allowing the product to be released from the bottom. The discharge button operates in dead man's mode, i.e., it must always be pressed.Operating SpeedThe loading speed is fixed and not adjustable. It is possible to equip the machine with a special control panel and speed controller by requesting this when ordering. The capacity may vary depending on the bulk density of the product and must be checked before ordering for special requirements. With an inverter, the output speed increases by about 30%.Screw DiameterThe standard version has a diameter of 100 mm. We can manufacture screws with 154 mm or more; this must be checked when ordering.Optional VibratorIt is possible to equip the dispenser with a vibrator that moves the product. The vibrator can be operated manually by the operator and is usually used during the emptying phase. It is usually not left permanently activated as it would be very disturbing. Ideal for products that tend to compact and ensures a uniform flow. For automatic applications, we can design it to be activated regularly.
